As the daughter of the couple behind the legendary USA Import music shop and record label, from birth there was no escaping possible from music and sounds. Together with her brother, she relaunched the USA Import music label, exactly 50 years after their parents founded the store in 1973. They are re-releasing from USA Import's huge catalog of underground classics, and starting soon with releasing music by contemporary artists.
Also in her professional life in film education, and in her further study research, the link with music and the impact of sound is a constant.
In her selection of music, whether behind the turntables of a party or radio booth, wonder and unpretentious openness to different genres, context and audience are key.
